Tension Guide
Tension Calibration Options
If you do not know the
specific tension you want
for your restring then we
recommend choosing one of
the following tension
options.
Power and Control -
Your racquet will be
restrung at around a middle
tension for your racquet.
This will provide both power
and control for all round
playability.
Power - Your racquet will
be restrung at a lower tension
to provide greater power.
Control - Your
racquet will be restrung at
a higher tension to provide
greater control.
Specific Tension
The final tension of the
string bed is dependent on a
number of factors. For the
same tension number, the
final tension feel and
playability of a racquet
will vary between racquets,
string densities, machines
and stringers.
If you choose an option
above, the tension used will
be noted on your receipt so
you will have a reference
point for next time.
If you choose a specific
tension that is deemed
unsuitable for your racquet
or choice of string, this
will be adjusted.
