Speed String Ltd is a private company specialising in racquet sports. We aim to provide the best quality and service that we can for all our customers and endeavour to offer value for money on all of our products for sale online. All prices are in GBP Sterling and include any necessary taxes. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information on this website, Speed String Ltd cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies that may be present. Prices and products in our online store are subject to availability and may change at any time. Payment can be made using most credit or debit cards. Payment is processed through PayPal’s secure encrypted online transaction service and via the Romancart shopping basket system. Payment can also be made through PayPal’s fast checkout service should you have a PayPal account. All personal details are used solely for your payment transaction and are not passed on to any third parties.

Products will not be dispatched until your payment has been received. We aim to keep most products in stock and dispatch your order to you as soon as possible once payment has been received. All items are currently dispatched via Royal Mail and should arrive within 1-2 days, however please allow up to 7 days for delivery.

If your products arrive damaged or faulty then you must email us as soon as possible with your Name, Address, Order ID, Product and a description of the problem. After having inspected the damaged product upon return we will either re-dispatch the said product or refund you the cost. Products that have suffered accidental damage or damage from neglect, misuse or wear and tear will not be refunded or re-dispatched. We strongly recommend using recorded delivery or special delivery for the return of products. This is your own responsibility.

If you wish to return a product that is not damaged or faulty, you must do so within 7 days of receipt. After this time, we will be unable to offer refunds. You must email us with your Name, Address, Order ID, Product and reason why you wish to return the product as soon as possible. We strongly recommend using recorded delivery or special delivery. Return delivery costs are your responsibility and will not be refunded. All delivery costs, and charges to us by PayPal incurred during your transaction will not be refunded. Your returned product will be rejected if it is not in satisfactory condition and in its original packaging, including any necessary labels or tags.

Customers using our Mail Order Racquet Stringing Service use the postal service at their own risk. Customers must ensure that racquets are not damaged in any way or have cracked frames prior to sending their racquets to us as we will be unable to restring your racquet. We return all racquets via Royal Mail 1st class delivery; in the unlikely event that a racquet becomes damaged or lost through the fault of Royal Mail, Speed String Ltd will be unable to take responsibility. Customers must retain proof of postage to be produced in the event that a racquet is damaged, lost or delayed by Royal Mail.

Customers that supply their own string are required to do so with an unopened string packet. The quality of strings supplied by customers cannot be guaranteed by Speed String Ltd and in the event of supplied strings being damaged or of poor quality, Speed String Ltd will be unable to restring that customers racquet and will be unable to offer a refund for all delivery costs and any further charges incurred by Speed String Ltd. If 'Specific Tension' is selected in the order form box, but the customer does not select a specific tension in the following selection box, the customer's racquet will be restrung to a 'Power and Control' calibration; that is a middle tension for the customer's racquet and choice of string. If the customer's racquet is unable to be restrung due to an unconventional racquet design, the racquet will be returned to the customer and a refund may be granted minus postage and packaging costs and any payments or banking charges that occurred to Speed String Ltd during the transaction. Every attempt is made by Speed String Ltd to ensure a fast and efficient service, however Speed String Ltd cannot guarantee the 1-2 day delivery time for 1st class mail as specified by Royal Mail and cannot be held responsible in the event of failure of Royal Mail in ensuring delivery within their specified time frame. All Special offers are limited and subject to availability.

We accept most credit/debit cards and payment via your PayPal account if you have one. All card and PayPal transactions are processed using PayPal's secure online payment service.
